The image Connected van Jelmer Zwaan, together with the other 21 works of art from Helmets Full of Stories, unveiled and can be seen in the Memory Museum in Nijverdal until the end of August. The art project was conceived by Amy van Son, a naval veteran herself, who served in the former Yugoslavia. According to Van Son, it is high time that attention was also paid to the stories of ‘the younger veterans’, their missions, the home front, and what it all does to people.
