Taylor Swift won her fourth Grammy in the Album of the Year category. Football player Travis Kelce has now also promised his girlfriend a trophy.
NFL pro Travis Kelce is proud of his girlfriend, singer Taylor Swift. The 34-year-old made history with her Grammy win for Best Album of the Year.
“She’s incredible,” said the football professional in Las Vegas, where he and his Kansas City Chiefs will play in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday (local time). “She’s rewriting the history books.” Looking ahead to the upcoming Super Bowl, the football star said of Swift: “I told her I had to keep my end of the bargain and come home with a trophy too.”
Swift makes history
Swift won her fourth Grammy in the Album of the Year category for her record “Midnights.” She passed Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, who each received three awards in the category.
That same evening, Swift announced her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” will be released on April 19th. Kelce said of the album: “I’ve heard a lot about it and it’s incredible. I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally comes out.”
