Travis Kelce delivers an all-round blow against the Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of trouble this season. Above all, the otherwise feared offense rarely managed to convince in this NFL season. Travis Kelce blames the collective for this.

With a win on New Year’s Eve against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chiefs can complete the division victory in the AFC West. However, the team from Missouri lost three of the last four NFL games, which is why there is currently a mood of crisis in Arrowhead Stadium.

During the recent loss against the Las Vegas Raiders (14:20), Travis Kelce actually freaked out because of the ongoing offensive problems and threw his helmet around.

The tight end finally spoke about his frustration during the week on the “New Heights” podcast that he runs with his brother Jason. He also explained that every KC professional has their share in the current misery.

“It’s not just one guy,” Kelce clarified at the beginning. “It’s not just that I play like a dog. It’s not just that we can’t get the run game going. It’s not just that we’re not on the same page about passing “We’re in this damn thing together.”

NFL: Travis Kelce has a simple solution

The Chiefs lead the NFL this season in dropped passes (34) and offensive penalties (56), among other things. In addition, they currently rank sixth in turnovers (26). These statistics prove why Kelce is currently fuming.

“Throughout the season we’ve shown on several drives that we can be a strong offense when we don’t hinder ourselves with penalties or when we don’t have to play first-and-f*cking-20,” rumbled the 34-year-old in the podcast.

Collective failure could be prevented with a little more commitment. “Everyone just has to do their job,” emphasized Kelce. “And I’m not saying I’m taking myself out of it.”
