The plastic artist and publicist, Andy Clar, creator of best sellers and of Girls in NY, leads a true artistic leap with her project “Travellers of the Future”, where she creates art with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) as a work tool .
The work consists of a series of short stories written by Clar since 2045, which are accompanied by images created by her using AI, which can be seen on Instagram @viajerxsdelfuturo. In this future world, technological advances are maximized, but she also longs for simple things like nature, fresh food and face-to-face human relationships.
Regarding the use of new technologies when creating art, the author expressed: “AI does nothing alone, but the prompt (the request) is everything. We have to know exactly what we want and know how to express it to obtain the desired result. Of course, when you know how to ask, he does it at an impossible speed in human reality.” And he added: “It is the first time that I have managed to capture in such a precise way a creative visual idea that I had, in an image that exceeds my expectations.”
Andy Clar, a pioneer in social networks, is internationally known for her project “Girls in NY”, as well as being a best-selling writer, and founding and creative partner of the advertising agency Super. As a plastic artist, she has exhibited in various places such as the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and galleries in New York and Dubai.
His new creation “Travellers of the Future” which already has more than 23 thousand followers on Instagram in just one week, transports us to a fascinating and innovative world, where human creativity and AI combine to create a novel result. The stories, so brief that they can be read on a bus trip, raise questions about the future of love, robotics, food, human relationships, cloning and travel after the global metamorphosis of the year 2028. In all the stories, the characters enjoy technological advances, but are also nostalgic for the simple things they missed out on.
The project has a plus that can be enjoyed very soon: it continues with luxury guests who will write new stories and a podcast where the stories will be read by the author. “Travellers of the Future” is a sample of how technology can be used to expand human creativity and offer a new artistic experience.
