Schiphol Airport is very busy.

Amsterdam – The aviation sector is not yet convinced of Schiphol’s ‘action plan’ to avert the chaos and long queues at the airport. KLM took the drastic step on Thursday not to completely sell out the aircraft in the coming days, because otherwise it will not have room to transfer customers. This costs KLM tens of thousands of euros in turnover. “We sell a maximum number of seats, so that there is room for customers who have to be rebooked as a result of the chaos at Schiphol,” said a spokesperson. Thousands of passengers have been stranded in recent weeks, creating a snowball effect in KLM’s operation.
