Trapp whereabouts for Oliver Glasner a “great sign”

Coach Oliver Glasner sees the whereabouts of his regular goalkeeper Kevin Trapp as a key to a successful future for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

“I’m very relieved and happy that Kevin made himself known so clearly and quickly,” said Glasner. He sees it as “a great sign from Kevin” and at the same time as an “award for the team”.

After all, Trapp is “insanely ambitious” and only stays because he sees “that we are ambitious and continue to set ourselves new, big goals,” said the Austrian coach: “Kevin believes in quality.” After the cancellation of Manchester United, Trapp should also help on Sunday (5:30 p.m.) in the hunt for the first win of the season at Werder Bremen.

“A Bundesliga game is never a sure-fire success,” said Glasner. “They’re a solid team that plays really good football. We have to perform very well to be able to win the game.” Only Almamy Touré, Aurélio Buta and Ajdin Hrustic, who have been injured for some time, will be missing.
