The ex president of the Barça Sandro Rossell continues to work on his possible candidacy for the mayor of Barcelona, for the municipal elections of 2023. Last April, close sources explained to EL PERIÓDICO that Rosell had “several known names who are willing to accompany him on this adventure”. One of them could be that of the former Major of the Mossos d’Esquadra, Josep Lluis Traperoas El Mundo has advanced this Monday.
According to this newspaper, Rosell wants to include Trapero in his candidacy to respond to one of the “main concerns & rdquor; of the Barcelonans: the unsafety. However, we will still have to wait to confirm if the agent accepts such a proposal.
Currently, Josep Lluís Trapero directs the Services Assessment Division (DAS) of the Mossos, a position that the Minister of the Interior, Joan Ignacio Elena, he offered after suddenly ousting him last year.
