Hannes Delcroix from Anderlecht to Burnley

Vincent Kompany has brought another old acquaintance to Burnley. Last season’s champion in the Championship pays Anderlecht about 3 million euros Hannes Delcroix to take over.

He became born in Haiti under the name Piterson Desir, but moved to Belgium at the age of two, where he was adopted by the Delcroix family.

Delcroix has played for Anderlecht since 2013, having previously played in the youth of Royal Antwerp FC, RBC Roosendaal and Beerschot. He came to 65 duels for the Belgian record champion. In the 2019/2020 season he was rented out to RKC Waalwijk, where he played 23 games in the Eredivisie.

Delcroix played an international match for the Red Devils in November 2020, when national coach Roberto Martinez was called up to replace Thomas Vermaelen.

Marcus Pedersen on loan to Sassuolo

Marcus Pedersen left Rotterdam after two years at Feyenoord. The 23-year-old Norwegian right back completed his transfer to Sassuolo on Tuesday. The Italian club has hired Pedersen this season and has the option to buy him afterwards. Yesterday it came news already out via HC Den Boschthe hockey club where his girlfriend Noor Omrani says goodbye by moving to Italy.

“Assuming the transfer becomes final, I look back with great pleasure on the past two seasons at Feyenoord,” said Pedersen on the website of the team from Rotterdam. “The conference league final, the national championship: each and every one of them special achievements that we have achieved together.”

Pedersen could not count on much more playing time this season. Feyenoord drew last week Bart Nieuwkoop a new right back on, assuming that Lutsharel Geertruida would leave for RB Leipzig. However, the transfer of that multifunctional Orange-international to Germany was canceled at the last minute. Geertruida can play as a right back and central back.

Pedersen grew into a Norwegian international at Feyenoord. Sassuolo finished 13th in Serie A last season and started the new season with a 0-2 defeat to Atalanta.
