The odds indicate a head to head for the Devil’s bench: the Austrian starts as the favourite
From the initial casting we moved on to a head-to-head. In the sense that, for the Devil’s bench, there are now only two left: Oliver Glasner and Mauricio Pochettino. They are the two great candidates for the reconstruction of a Milan with an uncertain future, with owner Gerry Cardinale called to bring order to the club before even dealing with matters on the pitch. Let’s find out how the AC Milan manager odds change by analyzing the tables of the main betting sites.
MILAN COACH ODDS
—
He’s on pole Oliver GlasnerGerry Cardinale’s first choice for the bench. The Austrian coach, fresh from the Conference League victory with Crystal Palace, has already met the Rossoneri management and given his full availability for the job. Having concluded his cycle in the Premier League where, at the helm of the Londoners, he also won the FA Cup and Community Shield, Glasner feels ready for a new challenge. Even more so if Ralf Rangnick also arrives in the management with the title of technical director (but for that we will have to wait for the end of Austria’s adventure at the World Cup). Odds in hand, he is the big favourite: 1.85 on Betflag and 1.80 on Snai, William Hill and StarVegas. Mauricio Pochettino it would instead be the choice of Red Bird advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic: the Argentine coach, however, will lead the US national team at the World Cup and would only be available at the end of the season. Perhaps too late to try to save a season that is already off to an uphill start: bookies price the hypothesis at 2.50. A sign that the former PSG coach is the only credible alternative to Glasner at the moment.
