Barça and Leeds reach an agreement in principle and the transfer is imminent
The Brazilian will be on the tour of the United States
Raphinha will become Barça’s third signing in the next few hours. The Blaugrana club and Leeds have reached an agreement in principle for 55 million euros plus 10 in variables and the Brazilian player’s trip to Barcelona is imminent. Raphinha already has permission to join the Blaugrana discipline in the next few hours and will do so to pass a medical review and sign a contract for the next five seasons.
Leeds United and Barça practically had an agreement since last Friday, but the discussion in the last few hours has focused on the variables and the delay that the Blaugrana club may have in paying the transfer after applying its second lever in the coming days. Leeds has finally accepted the contractual conditions and the last fringes of the contract have been closed. Raphinha will be the most expensive addition this summer.
The idea is that Raphinha lands tomorrow and is available to go on the US tour with the rest of the team.
