How does Sorare’s free mode work?
After you have registered for the Transfermarkt league, it is time to put together your team. In the main menu you can find all public leagues via the tabs “Play” and “Upcoming”. Depending on the league, different cards are required for participation; the “amateur” leagues can be played free of charge by any manager. A team in the “Bundesliga Amateur” league is required for the Transfermarkt league.
Clicking on “Draft” takes you to the selection of your players. You have a total budget of 400 points, which you can use to choose eight Bundesliga professionals – two goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and attackers. Players are priced based on their average score over the last 15 games. Joshua Kimmich is currently the most expensive Bundesliga player with 70 points.
Once you have selected your eight players and are satisfied with the team, it’s time to line up for the coming weekend. Five of the eight pros are needed for your team, only these score points with their performances at the weekend: one goalkeeper, one defender, one midfielder and one attacker each, plus another outfield player of your choice. If you have confirmed your selection in the “Bundesliga Amateur” league, you are registered for both the public league with all managers and the private Transfermarkt league.

What prizes can I win in the Transfermarkt league?
In addition to a total of 200 limited cards, for which all participants in the public “Bundesliga Amateur” league are fighting, Sorare is also providing other exclusive prizes for the Transfermarkt league. The manager with the highest number of points on matchday 28 wins three tickets for the match between FC Bayern Munich and Hertha BSC in the Allianz Arena on Sunday, April 30 (3:30 p.m.).
