+++ January 31st, 2:23 p.m.: Ex-DFB star changes within the league – transfer fee revealed +++
According to information from “Sky”, former German international Nadiem Amiri is about to move from Bayer Leverkusen to Mainz 05.
As the TV station reports, the 27-year-old midfielder is currently on the way to Rhineland-Palatinate to complete the mandatory medical check.
Amiri has hardly played a role at the Werkself lately; his contract in Leverkusen would have expired in the summer anyway. The central midfielder now has an opportunity at FSV. Amiri is expected to sign in Mainz until at least mid-2026.
The transfer fee will therefore be around 1.5 million euros.
He didn’t get a contract at FC Bayern, but Jérôme Boateng was obviously in great demand in the Italian Serie A. +++ January 31st, 12:56 p.m.: FC Bayern gets the green light from Zaragoza +++
FC Bayern has taken a step further in its efforts to improve on the flanks and to bring forward the transfer of Bryan Zaragoza, which was originally planned for the summer.

Accordingly, Zaragoza has sent the Munich team a clear signal in the last few hours and given the green light for a spontaneous change.
So while everything is clear with Zaragoza, the clubs still have to come to an agreement on financial issues. According to Sky, Granada is demanding more than six million euros for the winger to come to Munich in the winter. The German record champions are currently said to be offering “only” an additional three million euros (on top of the “summer transfer fee” of 13 million euros that is already due). In the summer, however, the personnel could become exciting again, especially since Zhegrova, who was already traded for BVB, was born in Herford in North Rhine-Westphalia.
