FC Bayern is actually well positioned in the goalkeeper position. Nevertheless, the German record champions are now associated with a superstar from the Premier League.
According to the portal “fichajes”, FC Bayern should have “great interest” in David de Gea from Manchester United.
The 32-year-old is only tied to the Red Devils until the end of the season. Manchester United have an option to keep the keeper at Old Trafford for another year on the same terms. However, the third in the Premier League table is probably hoping for a salary saving.
De Gea and Manchester United have not yet been able to agree on a new working paper. “I’ve been here for many years and enjoy every moment of being able to play for this club,” the veteran assured his connection to ManUnited to “Sky Sports”.
FC Bayern well positioned in goal
The “fichajes” portal also associates de Gea with Tottenham Hotspur. So FC Bayern would first have to assert itself on the transfer market – if there is any concrete interest at all.
