Rouven Schröder, the sporting director of the German team, recently spoke about Werner’s latest situation.
Schröder, “We wanted Werner to find a club that suits him. Football is like that, the roads may not always be flowery.
“If the club has other plans in mind, the players must find their own way and deal with the situation.” he said.
