There were no trains running between Assen and Groningen this morning and part of the afternoon due to a collision. Travelers had to use replacement transport until just before 3 p.m. Train traffic has been restarted since then, NS reports.
The collision at Haren station happened around half past ten this morning. Emergency services, including the fire and ambulance service, rushed to the scene.
