Train accident death toll in southern Germany rises to five | Inland

Four of the five confirmed dead have been recovered, one victim died on the way to hospital. At least 40 people were injured, three of them seriously. An unknown number of people are still in hospital.

About ten people are still missing, authorities say. The recovery is difficult because one of the overturned wagons first had to be lifted off the ground. The recovery of the derailed train parts will take at least a few days, according to the police.
