A police car was vandalized in Den Bosch on Monday night. That writes community officer Maarten Stet on Instagram.

Footage showed a boy throwing a traffic sign through the rear window of the car. The roof and tailgate were also damaged as a result. “Disbelief, surprise and anger are the first words that came to mind when I arrived at my service vehicle after a hard night’s work at Carnival,” Stet writes.

According to the local police officer, the car is currently unusable. “Thanks to this ‘hero’, society pays for the costs of making it. Thanks to everyone on behalf of everyone. Another car less to serve the residents of the municipality of Den Bosch.”

Stet hopes that the vandal will report to the police station. “Then we will answer you properly and we will gladly listen to your apology. Because then you really are a hero.”
