On the A9, traffic at the Velsen junction in the direction of Amstelveen was delayed for more than an hour due to an accident.
The traffic jam is now about ten kilometers long. Due to an accident, the left lane has been closed and traffic has come to a standstill.
According to Rijkswaterstaat, the lane will be reopened around 8 a.m.
