Traffic director Peter ensures that the Rotterdam region does not close due to roadwork: ‘If all goes well, we work in the shade’

In recent months, the Amsterdam region has mainly been sighing under the rage of maintenance and innovation to our infrastructure, the focus is slowly on Rotterdam. Planning such work requires enormous puzzle, explains traffic director Peter van den Heuvel of Rijkswaterstaat. “They stand at my desk every day that something else has to be done.”
