The traffic on the A28 between Meppel and Zwolle is running again. The road was closed for hours this afternoon due to an accident. An unknown number of cars and a caravan were involved in the accident.
The road was closed between the Nieuwleusen and Meppel exit. The ANWB advised people who still wanted to go north, to drive via Emmeloord (N50, A6, A7).
Nothing was left of the caravan after the accident. As far as we know, two people were injured.
