On the Binckhorstlaan not far outside the center of The Hague, four tractors are seized from farmers who tried to get into the center. They are part of a larger group that came to the Hofstad on Prinsjesdag to demonstrate.
A number of farmers turned around when the police stopped them. At least four tractors have therefore remained standing and are being removed. The police load them onto a trailer and take them off. According to a reporter, this is happening in good order, as far as we know no arrests have been made.
Groups of farmers have also been stopped elsewhere in or near The Hague. This happened on Benoordenhoutseweg and, according to local media, also at the Koningstunnel, near Central Station. At Nootdorp, a column of about forty tractors drove towards the center on Thursday morning.
