An accident involving a tractor and a van occurred at the end of the morning on the Oude Weerdingerdijk between Emmen and Nieuw-Weerdinge.
Both vehicles collided at the intersection with Aschbroeken. The occupants of the van were treated on the spot by emergency ambulance personnel and taken to hospital. It is not known how many people were in the van, which suffered significant damage.
As far as we know, the driver of the tractor escaped unscathed.
