Track record and 3000 meters win for Irene Schouten at World Allround Championships

Irene Schouten remains unbeatable in the 3000 meters this season. At the World Allround Championships in Hamar (Norway), the skater from Hoogkarspel improved the track record: 3:58.00. Despite this, the West Frisian is not at the top of the general classification.

The Japanese Miho Takagi, who won the 500 meters, was a total of 0.43 seconds faster. In the 500 meters, Schouten finished seventh and set a personal best (39.24). The top three consists of Antoinette de Jong after two distances.
