Trabzonspor’s Andreas Cornelius scored the first goal of the 2022-2023 season in Spor Toto Super League.
In the opening match of the season, Istanbulspor and Trabzonspor met at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
Cornelius, who sent the leather ball to the net with his head after the corner used in the 16th minute of the match, both put his team ahead 1-0 and scored the first goal of this season.
The Danish centre-forward, who scored 2 goals in the Turkcell Super Cup match played against Demir Grup Sivasspor in the same stadium on July 30, made a good start to the season.
Andreas Cornelius scored 17 times, 15 of which were in the Super League last season, wearing a burgundy-blue jersey and made a significant contribution to Trabzonspor’s championship.
