Zeyyat Kafkas, vice president of the claret-blue club, said at the ceremony held at Kadir Özcan Facilities that providing aid to amateur clubs is one of the duties of Trabzonspor and Amateur Sports Clubs Federation (ASKF).
Emphasizing that Trabzonspor managers come from amateur clubs, Kafkas said, “We are all composed of people who have been managers and presidents of the amateur group. There is a Trabzonspor Özkan Sümer Football Academy in Trabzon, and we also have amateur clubs. Our infrastructure is a combination of all of these.” he said.
Kafkas stated that they support the clubs through Trabzon ASKF and said, “I wish you all success this season. Whatever you need, we are always just a phone call away from Mr. ASKF President. We would be honored to support and serve you.” he said.
Trabzon ASKF President Cahit Erdem underlined that Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan gives great support to amateur football and said, “Ertuğrul president said, ‘Let’s get it done in a short time.’ ” he said and took responsibility, and it was resolved as soon as possible. I thank them for having such a president and vice president. They viewed whatever proposal we made positively. They offer such a good service to Trabzon amateurs.” made his assessment.
After the speeches, Kafkas and Erdem delivered boxes containing various materials such as jerseys, shorts, tracksuits and raincoats to the representatives of 64 teams in the organization held in cooperation with ASKF.
Erdem also delivered the plaque prepared in the name of President Ertuğrul Doğan to Kafkas.
On the other hand, it was stated that amateur clubs will be supported with football balls after the New Year.
