Statement from our President Ahmet Ağaoğlu
Our Board of Directors has decided to hold the Extraordinary General Assembly on March 2, 2023, due to the differences of opinion that emerged in our Board of Directors meeting, which we made a public statement. First of all, I hope this decision will be beneficial for our club and our community.
As of today, I have resigned from the Presidency of Trabzonspor Club Association and my duties in our affiliated companies, with the thought that our friends who demand the resolution of the General Assembly can carry out the process in a healthy way and prepare for the congress in a comfortable working environment.

To all my fellow Board Members with whom I have worked since the beginning, who had the biggest share in the 2 Super Cup championships, to our esteemed delegates and General Assembly who deemed us worthy of this task, to all our board presidents, our founding members, our past presidents, our teachers and players, our administrative staff, all of our members. to our club staff, local and national press; I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and gratitude to our esteemed Governor, Dear Metropolitan Mayor and all our district mayors, to the loyal Trabzonspor supporters who have the biggest share in our 8th championship, and to my esteemed elders who have put a lot of effort on me.
Serving my club, which I love dearly, as president for five years was the most honorable task I have ever experienced in my life.
I believe with all my heart that my friends and elders who will take office after me will carry our club to much higher heights and will manage it successfully.
It is my greatest wish that our community will support the presidents and managers who will take office after us, more than ever before.
As we all know very well, the successes we have achieved have been won as a result of the struggles we have fought side by side in unity and solidarity.
It should not be forgotten that; People come and go, the real thing is Trabzonspor, Trabzonspor’s success.
