Towards Inter-Milan: waiting for Lautaro and Sanchez, Inzaghi’s choices

Morning session for Inter 4 days before the derby which could be worth a slice of the championship. After meeting Gosens yesterday and hugging Caicedo again, Inzaghi directed the second training session after the coronavirus negativization. Same menu for tomorrow, while the sessions on Thursday and Friday have been set for the afternoon, also to meet the two South Americans expected in Milan only before the eve of the match against Milan. Lautaro and Sanchez are in fact the only two not present in Appiano, as they are engaged in the night respectively in Argentina-Colombia and Bolivia-Chile.

Private flight

The apprehension, as always in these cases, is between the field and the logistics of the returns. In this sense, Lautaro could have an advantage, already qualified for the World Cup in Qatar and perhaps even on the bench tonight. The Bull will then return to Europe with a private flight organized by the Argentine federation. Depending on how they slept in flight, Lautaro and Sanchez will decide whether to take a trip in Appiano on Thursday or whether to return directly to the group for the finish on Friday. At this point the most probable hypothesis is a relay between the two alongside Dzeko, with Caicedo ready to clear the deck while the game is in progress.

In addition to the new signing Gosens, the only other unavailable is in fact Correa, who today limited himself to a work in the gym, while the former Atalanta was also out on the pitch. The anti Milan formation therefore seems to have been made, with Skriniar, De Vrij and Bastoni in front of Handanovic, Dumfries (in a run-off with Darmian) and Perisic on the flanks. In the middle, Barella, Brozovic and Calhanoglu, with Dzeko and one between Lautaro and Sanchez in attack.
