Australian Kaden Groves has won the fourth and longest stage of the Tour of Catalonia. After 188.2 kilometers from Llivia to Sabadell, the professional cyclist from the Alpecin-Deceuninck team beat Frenchman Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) in a mass sprint. Third place went to Groves’ compatriot Corbin Strong (Israel Premier Tech).

With four kilometers to go, the peloton had formed the leading group of four. The four German starters around Anton Palzer (Bora-hansgrohe) played no role in the fight for the stage win.
