Tour de Ski: Cross-country skiing – Hennig in the top ten over the 10 km

Katharina Hennig again achieved a top result in the third race of the Tour de Ski. The Olympic champion took sixth place over the 10 km in Oberstdorf. Sweden’s Frida Karlsson secured victory in a time of 24:53.3 minutes. Finland’s Krista Pärmäkoski was 16.6 seconds behind. Third place went to Anne Kjersti Kalvaa from Norway (+18.1 sec.)

After her unbelievable race to catch up in the pursuit, where Hennig made up 20 places and fought her way up to sixth place, the 26-year-old also showed an impressive performance in her adopted home country. The Olympic champion was 41 seconds behind Karlsson – only 20 seconds missing from the podium.

Nadine Fähndrich got off to an optimal start in the Tour de Ski. The Swiss lived up to her role as favorite in the women’s sprint and won all her races with ease.

No other DSV runner made it into the top 20

For the other DSV runners, the top places were far away. Katherine Sauerbrey was 25th, one place behind was Victoria Carl. Laura Gimmler finished the competition in 34th place, one rank behind the woman from Oberstdorf was Sofie Krehl. Lisa Lohman was 39th, Alexandra Lohmann 57th.
