The frame:
Pogacar celebrated his first two Tour victories on a Colnago V3RS. This year’s frame looks identical but is said to already be a prototype. To save weight, Pogacar had the paint removed. Only the sponsor stickers stick on the carbon. All screws should be made of titanium (4 euros each). It is not the lightest frame in the peloton, but it can be used in the mountains as well as in the flats. Price for the V3RS frame: approx. 4650 euros.
The group:
Gears and brakes are from the Italian manufacturer Campagnolo. The Super Record EPS works electronically and offers 22 gears. In the flat Pogacar drives disc brakes, in the mountains the Slovenian uses the classic rim brakes due to the lower weight. Group price without crank: approx. 3000 euros.
The power meter:
Schoberer Rad Meßtechnik probably only a few know the abbreviation SRM on the other hand every cycling fan. According to the company from Jülich, it offers the “gold standard in performance measurement”. The power meter is built into the crank, and Pogacar receives the data via the bike computer.
