The Frendit star’s ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz says that she feels relief as well as sadness.
Ex-fiancé of Frendit actor Matthew Perry Molly Hurwitz, 32, says that the relationship with the actress was one of the most significant relationships of her life – if not the most significant. Perry died on Saturday, October 28 at the age of 54.
Now Hurwitz remembers the two’s relationship in his touching Instagram post. The picture shows Perry’s silhouette and the cityscape in the background.
– He would love to hear that the whole world is talking about his talent. And he really was remarkably talented, Hurwitz begins his long essay.
He says that the duo watched together in 2021 Friends – The Reunion – episode.
– “Damn, I was good! Did you see what I did there,” Hurwitz remembers Perry being happy about his own performance.
– Our mutual respect and appreciation of humor were the things that united us. It was magical to see him realize again how talented he is.
Hurwitz also knew the actor much more deeply, and the relationship was not always easy.
– Even though I loved him as deeply as I could, he was complicated. He caused pain like I had never experienced before. No one has had a more profound impact on me in my adulthood than Matthew Langford Perry.
– I am extremely grateful for everything I learned about our relationship.
Hurwitz’s sadness is also tinged with feelings of relief.
– Matty, I am relieved that you have found peace now, he ends his writing.

Perry and Hurwitz started dating in 2018 and got engaged in November 2020. However, more than half a year later, the couple announced that they were separating.
– Sometimes things just don’t work out, and this was one of them. I wish Molly all the best, Perry commented on the end of the relationship to People.
Perry’s family told People over the weekend that they are devastated by the actor’s death.
– We are devastated by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world both as an actor and as a friend, the family said in a statement.
– You all meant a lot to him, and we appreciate the outpouring of love.
Perry was found lifeless in the hot tub of her Los Angeles home on Saturday. After unsuccessful CPR, he was pronounced dead and was not transported to the hospital.
