Touching farewell to Jessy and Wibe

Three weeks after the fatal accident, Jessy and her friend Wibe, both 24 years old, said goodbye.

Among others, Jessy’s brother, Jason, and some of her friends read something at the funeral. “No word can describe how I feel inside. You have started your last journey with us Wibe. Out of sight, but never out of mind. Not goodbye, but see you later.’, was the last greeting from one of Jessy’s friends.

The driver who hit Jessy and Wibe in Rome was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He faces 18 years in prison for double manslaughter and hit and run.
