The English football top club Tottenham Hotspur has parted ways with interim coach Cristian Stellini one day after the 1: 6 (0: 5) defeat at Newcastle United.
The performance at the weekend was “in no way acceptable,” said Tottenham boss Daniel Levy. Stellini, who was replaced by Antonio Conte last month, will be replaced by Ryan Mason.
Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League, six points behind Manchester United, who have also played two games fewer. Spurs were 5-0 down in Newcastle after just 21 minutes.
