Tottenham legend Mousa Dembele quits football



Coming from the brink of winning the Champions League with Tottenham Hotspur, one of the English teams, the legendary football player of the navy-whites, Mousa Dembele, decided to quit football.


Making statements on the social networking site Instagram account, the 34-year-old actor stated that he has a one-year contract with Guangzhou City and will retire after completing this period.


Dembele, who grew up in the Beerschot infrastructure of Belgian teams, wore the jerseys of Willem II, AZ Alkmaar and Fulham. The experienced name transferred from Fulham to Tottenham in 2012 for 19 million Euros.


Dembele, who spent 6.5 seasons in the London team, was transferred to Guangzhou City for 5 million Euros.


During his career, Mousa Dembele, who played in 578 matches, scored 62 goals and provided 49 assists.
