Tori Bowie died at the age of 32

Three-time Olympic medalist and world champion Tori Bowie’s death was announced by his manager’s office.

American sprinter Tori Bowie, 32, has died. His management agency, Icon Management, confirmed the news of the death on Twitter.

During his career, Bowie achieved a streak of Olympic medals. He won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the United States relay team, silver in 100 meters and bronze in 200 meters.

At the 2017 World Championships, he won gold both in the individual race and in the relay. Before that, he won the World Championship bronze in the 2015 Summer Games.

Bowie also had gifts in the long jump. At the World Championships in Doha, he finished fourth. Those prestigious competitions were his last. He did not participate in the Tokyo Olympic qualifiers and competed for the last time last year.

Bowie was close to winning a World Cup medal in his minor sport. PDO
