The Toppers have given a 55-year-old song a new look as part of their upcoming concert series. Tomorrow will appear Happy togethera remake of the 1967 song by American pop group The Turtles.
With this ‘summer, hip version’ of the classic, the group hopes to immediately get fans in the mood for the Happy Together concerts that are planned in the autumn. On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 November, Toppers Gerard Joling, Jeroen van der Boom, Jan Smit and René Froger will perform in the Johan Cruijff ArenA with various guest artists.
The new version of Happy together is accompanied by a video clip in flower power style. ‘With the release of this theme song, we wish everyone a very nice summer and we hope to see you all in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in the autumn.’
