The goalscorer of Jong Ajax Gabriel Misehouy speaks to the press somewhat modestly. After his goal in Tilburg, the 18-year-old attacker is the top scorer of the promises with seven goals. The young talent is happy with the point against Willem II, but knows that he has to use his weapon more: “I have a reasonable shot, sometimes I don’t know it anymore.”
Misehouy’s goal came about in the middle of nowhere: “It was a bit of a lucky goal, but I was able to send the ball well into the far corner,” said the attacker, who was close to his second goal in the second half: ” I saw the ball fly in, but unfortunately it went just wide.”
“He has to sense when to shoot or not”
Young Ajax coach Dave Vos saw Misehouy excel: “He is a wonderful and intuitive player. If he gets the chance to shoot, he should do so,” said the coach, who saw that his team was not impressed by the atmosphere in Tilburg: “They have now played away at NAC, Cambuur, which are also teams with a good atmosphere. This makes them experienced boys,” said the trainer.

Due to the point in Brabant, the promises are still fifteenth with 23 points from 21 games. Dave Vos’ team is now undefeated for nine games in a row: “It may sound crazy being Ajax, but you also have to be able to defend well in these kinds of games. I think Willem II has had few real chances. That is a big compliment for us,” the coach concludes.
