TOP Oss loses to the last runner in the Kitchen Champion Division

You could call it a cellar squatter, the match that TOP Oss and Jong FC Utrecht played against each other on Monday evening in the Domstad. The home club, which closes the row in the Kitchen Champion Division, won 4-2 against the number 17 in the ranking.

It started so well for TOP Oss, where things have been rumbling internally for some time. After 8 minutes, Justin Mathieu opened the score: 0-1. Within 8 minutes the roles were reversed and Jong FC Urecht led 2-1. Milan Hilderink of TOP had a large share in both hits. First he caused a penalty kick that was used by Mees Rijks and then he scored an own goal.

Tobias Augustinus-Jensen set the halftime score at 3-1. Not much happened after that, until extra time. In the first minute of this, substitute Jearl Margaritha halved the deficit, after which Jesse van de Haar decided the game in Utrecht’s favor before the final whistle: 4-2.

There was a yellow card for Mathieu and the Utrechters Ivar Jenner and Ruben Kluivert. More than 300 people witnessed it.
