Comic artist Toon van Driel – his Knudde comics will be in the AD for exactly 50 years on Sunday – is now also an artist. Under the name Toon on Tour he exhibits paintings of his cartoon characters. Now still in restaurants in North Holland, but: “In a few years I want to be in the Moma in New York.”
