Tony Hadley comes to Emmen on Saturday June 8 to perform at the Hello Festival at the Grote Rietplas. Hadley is best known as an ex-singer of Spandau Ballet.
Through the Barricades , True , Gold and Only when you leave . Spandau Ballet achieved great success in the 1980s with these songs in particular. The band ceased to exist in the early 1990s, later made a comeback, but eventually fell apart again.
However, Tony Hadley is still performing and the Hello Festival organization is very pleased to have been able to secure the British singer for this year’s edition. He previously appeared on stage in 2004 at the well-known Emmer festival Back to the 80’s was called and will also perform the big hits of Spandau Ballet in Emmen this year.
The arrival of Sananda Maitreya (formerly known as Terence Trent D’Arby), Acda and De Munnik, Di-rect, Froukje, Helmut Lotti Goes Metal, Donnie and Daredevils was previously announced for this year’s Hello Festival. More artists will perform, but according to the organization the names cannot yet be released.
