Tonight code yellow due to snow and slipperiness

The KNMI has announced code yellow because of the risk of slippery conditions due to winter showers. The weather warning is in force in North Holland from 8 p.m. Road users are advised to adapt their driving behaviour.

From the beginning of the afternoon, winter showers on the Wadden Islands can already cause local slipperiness. Later in the afternoon the snowfall will move over the northeast. In the evening the snow and slipperiness will spread over the rest of the country.

In the night from Thursday to Friday, the temperature drops to around or just below freezing, reports Weatheronline† Some (wet) snow may fall in the south on Friday morning. It will gradually clear up on Saturday night.
