In the evangelical Genezareth Church in Berlin-Neukölln, couples can say “I do” spontaneously on Saturday (from 11 a.m.). The idea is for couples to be married in a church in an uncomplicated way. Around 25 couples have registered for the “pop-up wedding festival”. The organizers have wedding dresses ready for couples who want to get married spontaneously. 15 pastors are on site. There are no fees for the spontaneous wedding ceremony, but an identification document is required.
