The municipality of Hilversum is preparing for a demonstration at the Media Park tomorrow. There are calls on social media to demonstrate as close to the Media Park as possible and to hang up as many inverted flags as possible. On this Budget Day, the police, boas and traffic controllers will be present in and around the Media Park.
The activists have not registered with the municipality, as is usual with demonstrations. The municipality must therefore rely entirely on an information report from the police. It remains to be seen how many people will join the protest and what exactly will happen.
It is clear that protesters are calling for inverted flags to be hung and to demonstrate as close to the Media Park as possible. From 08.00 in the morning, participants depart from various places in the Netherlands to Hilversum. Furthermore, the protesters plan to be civilly disobedient.

Despite the lack of contact between the protesters and the municipality, Hilversum let them know that possible demonstrators can only go to the designated place at Sound and Vision, outside the Media Park.
To steer the protest in the right direction, police, boas and traffic controllers will be present tomorrow morning on and around the Media Park. There will also be at the roundabout in front of the mediapark a text cart will be placed with the text with the ordinance of the municipality. The municipality expects that working people will not be affected much by the protest.
