His last race was Paris-Tours on October 9, but Julien Vermote already knew that an extended stay at Alpecin-Deceuninck was out of the question. Five months later, he still has no new contract. In the meantime, he continues to maintain the condition. In fact, he has just returned from an internship in Spain.

The E3 Saxo Classic will have a top line-up at the start tomorrow. Pogacar, Van Aert, van der Poel, Alaphilippe: anyone who wants to compete for the prizes between Bruges and Oudenaarde next week will make an appearance in the E3 Arena tomorrow.
