Eighteen-year-old Tommy van Lent will soon leave Good times Bad Times. Van Lent will continue his studies, but the character Steef Verduyn will remain, reports RTL Boulevard.
Van Lent shares the news GTST: The Podcast. According to the actor, his decision is not because he “didn’t have a great time”, but because he wants to continue with multiple studies. “Because I think I still have a lot to learn.”
Tommy is currently following an intermediate vocational education course for film actor. He wants to go to drama school, but that doesn’t go with his shooting days at GTST.
“I had to make a choice,” he explains. “I’ve had great years here. (…) So I’m going out and another actor is going to play my part.”
The character Steef made his debut on December 30, 2019. It is still unclear who will take on the role of Steef and when.
