Tomi Tuominen releases his second studio album

The all-rounder who became familiar to sports followers as a motor sports commentator Tomi Tuominen the new album is called Kapaka’s poet’s stories.

The album, which will be released today, Wednesday and contains eight songs, was created in close cooperation with wife Annina Tuominen with, who is the 2003 tango finalist.

– My wife’s support has been everything for this album as well. In addition to support, Annina’s handprint can be seen concretely in almost all songs. The main roles in our play are our joint duets, and with the exception of one song, Annina also sings the stemma for all of them, Tuominen, who works as a rally reporter at Yelle, says in the press release.

Tuominen’s debut album Painovoimaa was released three years ago. This time he took a bigger role in creating the songs. Moments of inspiration did not look at time or place.

– Under the apple tree with a guitar in your lap, in the evening in a dark living room or with your morning coffee. The melody and lyrics have come to almost all songs at the same time, the man explains.

Tuominen also has experience in theater and TV acting as well as musicals.

On the sports side, in addition to presenting and commenting duties, Tuominen has had time to have a long karting career, during which he has read sheet music For Toni Gardemeister, To Sebastian Lindholm and Juho Hänninen.
