Tomas Käyhkö, 25, surprised at the US Open – a huge prize pool

The US Open of bowling saw a great Finnish performance.

25 years old Tomas Käyhkö has reached the third place in the competition of the PBA professional bowling tour, Keilauliitto report.

The PBA tour is contested in the United States. Käyhkö’s top performance immediately hit the first race of the tour, the US Open in Indianapolis.

The US Open is one of the PBA’s Major tournaments, and due to its challenging game format, it is one of the most prestigious bowling tournaments in the world.

Käyhkö received a hefty 25,000 dollars, or a good 23,000 euros, for his third place. The winner of the competition By EJ Tackett the jackpot was $50,000.

Käyhkö is the 2021 World Cup silver medalist in bowling. In Indianapolis, he played for the first time in his career in the USA in the televised finals.

Käyhkö lost in the semi-final To Kyle Troup. Still, he wasn’t disappointed.

– I managed to play a good series, even though the pressure was tough. However, the guy got more points and the loss came, but still a great start to this year, the Finnish star summed up in the release of the Keilaluliito.
