British actor Tom Wilkinsonknown for his starring role in ‘The Full Monty’, died this Saturday at the age of 75.
The actor was awarded a Bafta, a Golden Globe, a Primetime Emmy Award and two Oscar nominations throughout a career that spanned almost 50 years.

The star played Gerald Arthur Cooper’s character in the 1997 comedy, which tells the story of a group of laid-off Sheffield steelworkers on their journey to set up an all-male striptease act. Wilkinson reprized the role 26 years later in a Disney+ streaming series, which commemorated the characters.
Additionally, he also appeared in the 1998 romantic comedy Shakespeare in Love and Christopher Nolan’s 2005 blockbuster Batman Begins.
