Tom DeLonge describes blink-182’s new album as ‘the best of our career’

In a familiar line-up, Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker will be making music again:

The best album of the blink-182 era?

DeLonge posted an old photo of the band on Instagram with the caption, “What if I told you we just made the best album of our career?”

The first taste of the album

On October 14th the new single “Edging” will be released:

A short history of the band

blink-182 was formed in 1992 by Hoppus and DeLonge. The pop punk band went on hiatus between 2005 and 2011 before returning in 2011 with the album NEIGHBORHOODS and the tour that followed. Matt Skiba replaced DeLonge in 2015 after he left the band earlier that year. After a seven-year hiatus, DeLonge resumed his position at blink-182 in 2022. Matt Skiba can be heard replacing DeLonge on the recordings for CALIFORNIA and the current album NINE.
