Tom Brady before sensational comeback? Insider clarifies

In early February, Tom Brady announced the end of his career in the NFL in an emotional statement. At the same time, there is speculation about a possible sensational comeback, after all, the quarterback legend backed down a year ago. An NFL insider does not expect Brady to return again.

“I can’t see him suddenly turning around in mid-March to make himself available to San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami or whoever,” wrote Sports Illustrated journalist Albert Breer.

Before retiring from the NFL, Brady was considered a candidate for the 49ers, Raiders or Dolphins. In mid-March, the seven-time Super Bowl champion will officially become a free agent and can then, in theory, join any NFL team.

However, Breer doubted that this would also happen in practice. “I also think that because of his plans and family circumstances […] has no intention of reconsidering any of this,” the reporter surmised.

However, Breer advises interested teams not to slam the door completely. “First of all, no one knows how Brady will feel on the first day of training camp or opening day when his body clock tells him it’s time for the football season,” the journalist explained.

Second, even at the age of 45, Brady has proven that he can still keep up in the NFL, Breer said.

Tom Brady’s NFL comeback unlikely

However, it is unlikely that Brady could withdraw from the resignation again. “I’ll get straight to the point. I’m stepping down, forever,” the former quarterback for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers said on social media.

Brady also wants to be an NFL expert on the Fox TV channel from 2024/25. According to US media, he will receive a fee of $ 375 million for his ten-year contract.
